Ruth works as a Chartered Accountant and has recently been made a Partner with Bluett Conran & Co. She completed a primary degree in European Business and Languages at the National College of Ireland, and went on th do a Post Graduate diploma in Accounting in DIT. She then chose to study with the Chartered Accountants Ireland to become a Chartered Accountant.

<p>Nichola O'Higgins owns and runs a fish shop in Wicklow with her Husband, who is also a Chef.  The job entails sourcing the best supply of fish, presenting it in the most attractive manner, providing advice to her customers on how to cook it, marketing their services, keeping the accounts in order and maintaining the highest levels of hygiene at all times.</p>

Jason works as a Computer Programmer for Intel. He went to DCU (Dublin City University) to complete a BSc in Applied Physics, from where he went to immediate employment with Intel. Since then he has completed a Masters in Applied computing at DIT. Both courses have prepared him very well for his current position.

<p>Gail Smith is a Garda who is attached to the Regional Traffic Department in Dublin Castle.  She diid her initial training in the Garda College in Templemore and before she was accepted into the Divisional Traffic Department, she had to sit an interview and pass a 'standard' motorcycle course. This was a four week course where she drove a Kawasaki 550 motorcycle.</p>

Billy Condon works as an Electrical Engineer with the ESB. After completing his Leaving Cert he went to University College Cork and graduated with Electrical Engineering. He went on to do a Masters in Sustainable Energy before joining ESB on their Graduate program. Billy also participates in delivering the STEPS to Engineering program run by the Institute of Engineers.

Alan O'Neill is a Skipper working out of Castletownbere in Cork and has his final Skippers Licience. This entitles him to skipper a boat up to 50m and allows him to skipper any fishing vessel worldwide. This ticket allows you more career pathways as you have a wider boat base to choose from.
